The Co-curricular Programme at Frobel Academy aims to ensure the development of the whole child. Our belief is that children need more than academics to develop into a strong, independent personality. The greater the variety of experiences they have at a young age, the broader their thinking and their ability to learn becomes as they mature into adults. Apart from offering many choices of co-curricular activities within our premises, we take our learners for field trips to various locations up to four times a year so as to give them opportunities to get to know our city.

Dance Movement Time

Dance Movement Time (DMT) is the therapeutic use of movement and dance to support intellectual, emotional, and motor functions of the body. DMT looks at the correlation between movement and emotions. Children will learn how to express themselves through dance and movement and they have a really fun time doing so.

Karate

Learning Karate is beneficial to the children as it helps them to show respect for their instructor as well as their opponents, it teaches them self-discipline, it instills mental focus in children, makes them fit, and also improves their confidence.

French

The greater the exposure to multiple languages at a young age, the higher the ability of the child to understand other people. Also children who know multiple languages are better at storytelling and interpretation.

We are proud to announce that Frobel Academy an MOU with Alliance Francaise in Chittagong and a dedicated teacher comes from their noble institute to teach French to children from Class 2 onwards. This is a part of the curriculum and is a mandatory requirement for all children at least up until class 6.

Physical Sports

To ensure that children are exposed to a variety of experiences, we have a full-fledged plan for physical sports for all classes. Unless the child has a health problem and has been given an exception by a doctor, we expect all children to participate in team and individual games at school. We hold an annual sports. Moreover, we have regular team and individual games in school such as cricket, badminon, kabbadi, basketball, and football.

Theatre Arts

Introduction to Dance, Music, and Drama are considered essential tools to build confidence in children and increase their experiential learning. It is important for children to perform in front of an audience as that promotes positive feelings of self worth. Moreover, they learn by doing things backstage.

Special emphasis is paid to enhance learners' knowledge of our culture through music, drama, and art. Many Bangla cultural events are planned and organized so that learners become aware of our cultural heritage.

Yoga

Practicing yoga has numerous positive benefits for children. It helps them to build concentration, increase their confidence, and improve their self-image. It also makes the child feel that he or she is part of a healthy, non-competitive, and friendly group. It also encourages them to manage their stress in ways that are healthy and non-aggressive.
