At Frobel Academy, our priority is to align the parents’ with our philosophy. We encourage you to tour the school prior to applying for admission for your child so that you can understand our goals and our approach to learning. If you are confident that the school is the right fit for what you seek for your child, you may submit an enquiry form so that we can keep your child on the waiting list. All children on the waiting list will be contacted once admissions are opened.

We have limited seats in all classes. Most of our learners in class 1 are direct entrants from Frobel Play School, a sister concern. However, we do accept students in all classes based on seat availability. We encourage you to keep in touch with the school and apply as per our admission process if you feel that your child will thrive in our environment.

 Admission Process:

Step 1: Enquiry Form Submission

For children coming in from Frobel Play School, priority will be given for admissions in class 1.

Step 2: Admission Form Submission

When there is an available seat, the admissions form will send you an admission link on the email provided in the enquiry form. Once the admissions form link is received, please submit all documents online. Along with the admission form, you will have to upload the following:

  7. Photocopies of all achievement certificates in the field of Academics, Sports, Extra Curricular activities will be helpful in case of students taking admission in class 3 or above.
  8. Photocopy of Passport if available. This is mandatory for overseas students.

Hard copies of documents and passport pictures (4 copies) have to be provided along with hard copy of the form after online submission. If you have not taken a tour of the school before, we encourage to email our admission team at admissions@frobelacademy.com and schedule a tour and submit the above at the same time. If you are requesting financial aid, you can get the form on email from admissions@frobelacademy.com. Please submit along with above documents. However, this can be submitted at a later date also.

Step 3: Academic Test and Parents’ Interview

The school admissions team will contact you in case a test and parents interview needs to be scheduled. For all children from class 1 – 5, no formal interviews are conducted with children but parental interviews are scheduled as we want to get to know you before you join our school community. Students in secondary school may be called for an interview. Prior to this, you may also request for a meeting with an academic leader if you have any questions. We encourage prospective parents to join us on Facebook and study our website so that you are familiar with the school before the interview or meeting.

The child’s test and parental interview process can take up to 3-4 hours. We take the time to engage the children in a number of activities and also give them a tour of the school. This process ensures that the child is excited and committed to join the school and take part in the learning process. Parents are also engaged in activities on that day. We encourage parents to keep this time requirement in mind before coming for the test and interview.

Age Criteria:

Class 1: 6 plus
Class 2: 7 plus
Class 3: 8 plus
Class 4: 9 plus
Class 5: 10 plus
Class 6: 11 plus
Class 7: 12 plus
Class 8: 13 plus

(As our school continues to grow, our children will eventually graduate following a Cambridge Curriculum for A-levels.)

Step 4: Confirmation of Admission and Fee Payment

Once the admissions team informs you regarding admission confirmation via a call or email, payment needs to be completed within 15 days to ensure seat reservation. We serve parents on first come, first serve basis and hence lack of full or part payment may result in seat allocation being changed. If any further documents are required, you will be given time to submit. You will receive time to buy uniforms from our designated vendor. Bags, books, and stationary will be provided by school.

We will need to know the joining date of your child. This is mandatory to ensure that teachers are informed and a warm welcome is given to the child by his or her peers. If a child joins in the middle of the year, we would expect parents to provide extra support at home to ensure the academic transition is smooth.

Step 5: Parent Orientation Meeting

Most parents who join in the beginning of the year are added to our yearly orientation meeting. If your child is joining in the middle of the year, we request that you email us if you need any information so that we can set up a meeting with the right person who can guide you.

It is important that children develop as whole individuals who are not only able to participate effectively in our teaching – learning process, but are also able to benefit from fruitful interactions with their peers. Hence, learners will be admitted in consideration of their age. Once a child is admitted, he or she is assured of continuous enrollment, provided all financial obligations to the school have been met, the learners meets the standards of behaviour expected of a Frobel alumnus, and demonstrates commitment to his or her academic work.

The school reserves the right to admissions. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the admissions committee will be final.
